The Process

  • Exercise programs are custom-made to meet every client's readiness, willingness, and ability to perform the exercises. The type of movement can vary from stretching and mobility to strength, endurance, and muscle growth. I consider current physical abilities and build a program that will strengthen areas of weakness (injury/replacement /chronic pain) and build upon the foundation of the client's abilities.

  • My nutrition coaching begins with a collaborative approach. Together the client's and I will examine their food foundation, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to empower the client to make better food choices that align with their goals.

  • I encourage personal reflection. Over the years, it has become increasingly clear that our health is impacted before we even have a say. We learn by what we see exemplified by those who helped to raise us, our environment, and our culture. We are influenced by the words spoken at us and to us- which sometimes cut right through us. Many of the people I have had the privilege to coach come with thought patterns and habits that resulted from their past. I take the coaching of the whole person seriously, so we will often revisit the past and DEAL with what has dealt with us so that it does not continue to have power over our choices. These conversations are held over time as the coach-client trust grows and can happen in person, over the phone, or sometimes via text. 

My vision is to coach healthy habits that impact clients, their families, friends, workplaces, and communities. I aim to build stronger and healthier communities that thrive in their health and share the wealth with everyone they encounter.
